Roadside Hardware
The Traffic Signal Design group is responsible for providing traffic engineering services as needed by the Roadway Design Section, Division Offices, and the Construction Bureau. This group's scope includes the aspects of traffic signal design; review of project plans; providing cost estimates; composing specifications for the required materials of a proposed traffic signal installation; reviewing electrical materials proposed for use on traffic signal installations; manage the traffic signal design services contracts and coordinates with consultant's design and payment; and coordinating statewide standardization.
