Bicycle Safety

The Alaska Safe Kids organization has begun a new bicycle safety program. Ready to Roll is a comprehensive program that includes a step-by-step guide to conducting a community-based wheel safety program. The goal of Ready to Roll is to reduce the incidence and severity of wheel-related injuries by increasing helmet use, promoting safe wheel-riding behaviors, and creating safer wheel-riding environments.
