• There were 201.16 persons injured every day.
• One person was injured every 7.16 minutes.
• Drinking drivers were involved in 5.78% of all crashes.
• Drinking drivers were involved in 22.53% of all fatalities.
• Over 79.38% of all drinking drivers involved in crashes were males.
• Rural crashes accounted for 17.06% of all crashes, and 2.20% of all fatal crashes.
• Seventy one and two tenths percent (71.2%) of all crashes occurred during daylight.
• Motor vehicle crashes resulted in $3.3 billion in economic losses to Arizona.
• Fifty-four (54) children were killed and 6,510 children age 14 and younger were injured in motor vehicle crashes
