Sec. 14 – 100a (c) (1)
All drivers and front seat passengers who are not covered by the child restraint law must wear safety belts. Children between the ages of 4 and 16 years of age must also use safety belts in the back seat. The driver is responsible for any passengers under the age of 16 years.
