How to Get Your Alaska Driving Record

Your Alaska driving record can be obtained in person by going to any Alaska DMV location or by mail or fax.

By Mail

In order to obtain your driving record by mail, send a written request that includes:

• Legal name (printed)
• Alaska drivers license number OR date of birth
• Purpose for record (employment purposes, insurance, "clearance letter" or other)
• Personalized check or money order
• Telephone Number
• Signature
